The South Central Solid Waste Authority (SCSWA) Corralitos Regional Landfill serves as the disposal location for a majority of waste generated within Doña Ana County and White Sands Missile Range. The landfill is located approximately 15 miles west of Las Cruces on I‐10. The majority of waste is received by tractor trailers from the SCSWA Amador Avenue Transfer Station. However, certain private haulers are allowed to transport material directly to the landfill if they have an account established with SCSWA.
